Semester and Academic Year Courses

These courses are intended for students between school and university or work. They are also suitable for under-graduate and post-graduate students intending to go on to a British University.

Semester/Academic Year Modules

• General English: development of all necessary skills
• Extra Conversation: focus on oral fluency and self-expression
• Social English: learn the language useful for everyday social, study or work life
• Business English: English as an international language at work
• Academic English: acquire the language skills for academic study
• Cambridge Examinations: prepare for First Certificate, Advanced or Proficiency
• IELTS or TOEFL Examination: English for entry to an English-speaking university

Note: Please choose course 8 if you want to study social or business English during your course

When Monday is a public holiday, courses begin on the following Tuesday: March 25; May 6, 27; August 26   28 week programme: 24 weeks' tuition and 4 weeks' holiday 36 week programme: 30 weeks' tuition and 6 weeks' holiday 48 week programme: 40 weeks' tuition and 8 weeks' holiday   2 extra weeks' holiday December 22, 2008 - January 2, 2009   Timetable: 1 lesson = 50 minutes, 20 lessons = 17 hours tuition, 25 lessons = 21 hours tuition   Minimum age: 16
