Work Experience Courses
- Combine an English course with a period of work for a London company
- We can arrange placements in marketing, administration, tourism, fashion, finance, engineering, computing, charities, media resources and other areas
- The programme objectives are educational and work is unpaid
- You can prepare a work portfolio for a Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience
- We can design programmes for both European Union nationals and non-European nationals, from 8-48 weeks
Work experience is an exciting and challenging way to improve your English, gain insight into British working life and culture and learn new skills.
The work you do will depend on your level of education and qualifications, your skills and experience, and your level of English. Placements are generally in medium-sized companies in London. Job specifications and workloads vary, but you can expect to have your own responsibilities and perhaps your own project. All placements include some routine activity. Most companies will interview you before offering you a work placement.
Early application is essential. Please ask for our Work Experience leaflet for more information and an application form. You must start the application process early enough to ensure that we receive all documents six weeks before your work experience placement begins.
