What kind of exam is it?
This exam tests general language competency at Upper Intermediate level. It tests your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

The most well known English Language examination. widely accepted by employers world-wide. Tests skills of reading, writing listening and speaking.
What does the exam consist of?
There are 5 papers, taken on three separate days; papers 1-3 are taken on the same day:
Paper 1: Reading comprehension (1 hour 15 min.)
Paper 2: Writing (1 hours and 30 min.)
Paper 3: English in Use (1 hour 15 min.)
Paper 4: Listening comprehension (40 min.)
Paper 5: Interview (15 min. approx)
How can I prepare for this exam?
Frances King offers special Cambridge Examination Courses to prepare students for this exam. You can also use practice tests in the study centre. There is also an exam forum where experienced exam teachers give advice and students can ask questions. This is generally held about 2 weeks before the exam; your teacher will notify you.
