The most popular trips on the programme: SALISBURY AND STONEHENGE Salisbury, a charming medieval town with a beautiful cathedral and nearby Stonehenge, one of the world’s most famous prehistoric sites. CAMBRIDGE A famous University City with breathtaking architecture. You can enjoy spectacular views from the top of St. Mary’s Church. With free time to take a punt down the river and explore the shops and market. BATH The Georgian architecture in the city centre and the Roman Baths make this city unique. LEEDS CASTLE AND ROCHESTER A ‘fairytale’, medieval Leeds Castle, home to monarchs of England since the 9th century. In Rochester, learn about Charles Dickens and visit the fabulous Cathedral, Norman Castle and Guildhall Museum. STRATFORD-UPON-AVON The birthplace of William Shakespeare. You can visit all the Shakespeare Properties, where he lived, worked and died. OXFORD A beautiful University City with age-old traditions, situated at the crossroads of medieval England. CANTERBURY AND DOVER CASTLE In Canterbury visit the most important Cathedral in England. Then travel to Dover with the famous White Cliffs and Dover Castle, a very impressive fortress, with miles of underground tunnels. BRIGHTON The South Coast’s most popular seaside town, with its historic ‘Royal Pavilion’, ‘Lanes’ and very English ‘Palace Pier’. |
